Rebecca Washington, Assistant Director, Oak Harbor School District
Rebecca has been the assistant director for three years and the Oak Harbor School District recently announced she will become the Director on July 1, 2020. She has 6 years of experience as a special education teacher and worked as a Teacher on Special Assignment for 5 years. In her current role, she has been responsible for the district behavior efforts and the district MTSS/PBIS implementation. Rebecca received a master’s degree in education and a program administrator’s certificate from the University of Washington, Bothell. She is a graduate of the ECSEL program. Her great work was recognized by the district when they appointed her as the new Director of Special Education.
