Unified Champion Schools
Take a few minutes to vote for a special panel discussion to be placed on the SXSW EDU 2019 program.
Another way to intentionally get students to have these positive interactions is to make sure your schools consider becoming a Unified Champion School! This program is an amazing opportunity to change attitudes and thought processes of the next generation! We all do so much to improve student achievement, but we also need to make a difference in the way people see and treat people with special needs. We don’t need adults in decision making positions saying, “We don’t need those people moving into our community!” Hard to believe, but it still happens! We need to intentionally work with our young people, so they will make the right decisions!
